Very easy to remove them...Get your fingernail underneath them and pull them off.. If it is an older plane use a low temp blowdryer and then pull them off..Use 70-90% Rubbing alcohol to clean the residue off with... The Cowling you need to repaint...Just wetsand with 400 grit and repaint with Hangar 9 Midnight Blue Paint... Easy to do.... If you need anymore info let me know...
