RE: Genisis pics
Well I flew mine today, and it flew very well. Very slow flying airplane. I am running the 16.5x12W prop good breaking, and constant speed. I am going to try also the 18x10PN, just for comparison purposes. The plane does not have any right thurst built into the firewall, or nose so I added 1 degree of right thrust after my 4 flights today. So, I used a mix with the offset and it seem to work really well. I intend on adding some right thrust manually to the airplane. I put my CG on the tube, but after flying it the plane I bet will lock in better with the CG just in front of the tube. Instead of adding lead, to the nose, I am going to take off the light back plate and put on a solid back plate, and I hope that this will give me the weight I need, to a make it balance just foreard of the tube. "cannot move my battery any more forward as it is now right behind the firewall. I had the wings set to .5 positive, but I think that if I get the weight right, I can put the wings at stab at zero-zero, and maintain a strait knife edge flight. All in all I am very ipmressed with this airplane. For those of you spending the money to buy this plane you will not be dissapointed. The paint job is flawless and so is the covering. Great looking bird.
