hows the ice fishing in lake george? well and the ice. i wont put foot on it untill its about 6 inches thick.
The fishing is good... Lake Trout, Landlocked Salmon, Yellow Perch, Northern Pike, etc. The ice can be dangerous if you're not familiar with the lake. It's a big lake with lots of small streams running in, and lots of circulators and bubblers to protect docks.
I'm a little more cautious than I used to be. I put a full-size 4WD pickup through the ice on Paradox Lake several years ago.
