Hello Folks,

I have been a fan of RC controlled planes for as long as I can remember. Now, as my age starts to head toward the stratosphere, I'm looking to take up that hobby that I have loved for the longest time. I have zero experience in rc planes and have only built the occasional RC Semi Truck kit from Tamiya.

As I start down this path toward rc planes I plan on saving a few bucks on crashed planes by getting myself familiar with them through the use of RC simulation software. I have read, and read, on the programs available and have come to the conclusion that it comes down to two. Those being Aerofly and G3.

My question is, which in your opinion is best for a "newbie"?

I'm not trying to start a "p*ssing contest" here, I'm just looking for some great feedback from you knowledgeable folks before I go out and spent 250.00.
