I wouldn't think that the RC10 is outdated.. I see a lot of wins coming each week to the RC10 at the local track.

I haven't ran a Jato, I would like a Jato, but I would think that for backyard bashing, with a few upgrades your RC10 will be able to run with a Jato if you would learn to drive the truck. Instead of hanging on and hoping for the best, start learning about tuning your suspension and how the truck is going to act in given situations. I don't think in my opinion that horsepower wins every race, I think it goes to the person that drives the best.

(oh yeah, I'd upgrade the engine to one of the OS's)
