RE: Your flight skill
Good choice Fifon. If I could learn again I would've done it with a simulator. In fact I wasn't even IN to R/C helis until the shop I work at got the Blade CP. Since nobody knew how to fly them I took a shot at it (I had park flyer experience). Ever since then I've been hooked.
I learned how to hover reliably in about a month, a month later I was doing forward flight. About 4 months later here I am, I've done a lot of work to my Blade CP and I've done a lot with it. Still holding off on aerobatics involving inverted flight, but I'm pretty competent right-side up. Unfortunately the Blade got in a crash almost a month ago (simulators make crashing EASY!) and that's when I realized that I should move up to a better-performing heli, with a pitch-controlled tail. So now I hope to get the kit for my upcoming T-Rex 450XL in a couple of weeks.
Breaking stuff sucks, but it's also kind of fun in its own right (at least reassembling the whole thing and maintaining it).
Good luck!
