Here is an interesting plane the “Fun World 3D”- I know nothing about the company - I just saw the two page ad in this months RCM. It has pretty large wings with flaps - it uses two servos per wing half, three servos in the tail and one servo for throttle. $249.00 for a 120 size ARF fun fly ... hmmm. Looks like the wing loading would be about 15 oz/sqft. This plane should be a blast to fly. I don't work for this company - I just thought the plane looked nice.
Specs:
Wing Span: 70.5 in / 1790 mm
Wing Area: 1392 sq in / 89.8 sq dm
Flying Weight: 9.5 lb / 4300 g
Fuselage Length: 70.0 in / 1780 mm
Radio Required: 8 channels, 8 servos

edit: I'm not even sure you can buy one of these yet - the RCM ad has a phone number to call ...(925) 371-0922 - I did not call.
