Default RE: flying a 120

The 4-start 120 would be a fine plane for a second plane. First of all the 4-star series are just great stable flying planes. And second larger planes almost always fly smoother than smaller planes. You'll just have to get over the fear of flying a larger plane. We all get it, it's natural to be afraid of flying a big plane, but you'll do fine. As they said above, a larger plane can drink in the glow fuel. A flying buddy of mine has a 4-star 120 and he has a Zenoah G-26 on it, and it's a great flying combo. This is a gas engine that uses a gas/oil mix similar to what you put in your weedeater (basically it is a weedeater motor ). The nice thing about this is that you can fly for a very long time on approximately $3 worth of gas and oil!!

But as far as the plane goes you should be fine with it. Just make sure you are completely comfortable with your trainer. Try flying completely around your flying field inverted with your trainer, and when you can do that without falling out or losing your nerve you should do fine with the 4-star.

good luck

Hope this helps
