Razzle 3D
Ok friends, heads up.
Now I am on my third set of tail feathers...I have broken the horiz stab in flight TWICE...OK, so mabey I exceeded the design specs...max throw, 100 oz servos...The stab broke in the same place both times...right on the first bay on the LE and at the fuse on the TE.
My fix this time is carbon fiber the top, bottom LE and TE of the horiz stab. You can't do the wires thing as the rudder is too far aft.
My LHS has this very thin 1/4 wide and 4 feet long CFiber that you iron on, and then I'm thinning epoxy and scraping it in.
Horizon has been just great about this, of this you can be certain.
The balsa is just too light, but every time I was able to fly it back down no prob because of the two ele servos.
You also must get some yellow or white on the top or bottom of the wing....really. When your flip floppin' you can't tell up from down without it.
Still, it flys better than anything I have ever flown...better to me....I love a plane that can slow to a crawl....fly backwords...
I did have to snap off the head of the pilot, however. No pilot of mine is wearing lipstick unless it's Patty!
