Default RE: Not happy with Proline... :o(

Well, I owe everyone, especially proline and 'had enough' an apology. It seems I am an idiot. End of story. The manual also clearly shows the throttle linkage UNDER the servo horn as per the pictures (thanks 'had enough'). I have absolutely no idea how that escaped me. I am so precise when following instructions that I couldn't believe that that would be the mistake. Another lesson about building kits into the early hours of the morning...

Secondly, the reason it didn't seem to work under the horn was because I hadn't adjusted the rotating ball end on the carb (90deg towards the chassis). The linkage is now well below the required height. Duh....

I truly am an idiot, and thank everyone for being kind.

My apologies to XRay and Proline.

I like the look of the JConcept body, have to get one.

God, I'm so embarrassed when I read those first 2 posts. I think I'm going to hide.
