Ldalmas,

You have me confused on the 1/2A part. In some parts of the world an .09ci (1.5cc) engine is deemed 1/2A, but a TT 15 is a .15ci or 2.5cc engine (class A).

In the USA, a .049ci or .8cc engine is 1/2A...so you see the confusion. My TT .15 is a CL version (venturi, not throttle carb) and is a good running engine. As either diesel or glow it would be WAY too big for 1/2A kits.

I'm not terribly informed on electric, but 1/2A size is usually matched for a .05 electric motor.

Be aware that, when converting to internal combustion engines, you need to reinforce some areas to accept the additional vibration of IC engines.
