RE: CMPro Sukhoi SU-31
I have two- one with the Super Tigre G2300 and one with the MVVS 1.60 Gasser. The ST 2300 is a perfect match for the plane and does verticals with ease. However, the plane tends to be slightly tail-heavy, particularly if you mount servos in rear of plane. The ST 2300 does suck some fuel (9 min. flight on 16oz tank).
I have not flown Sukhoi with the Mvvs 1.60 gasser, but ignition and its battery setup was ideal for adding nose weight, and the fuel economy is an added plus. The engine is not yet broken in but it is a power house. My experience with the St 2300 and ground thrust test on the MVVS leads me to believe that the MVVS will be just as powerful.
