Default RE: Worth the effort?

Worth the effort? You better believe it! If my tach is anywhere near correct this thing is pretty awesome. Its reading 8400 with a 15-8 prop and idle of 2000 right now but I believe lower might be achieved with more tuning. This could be really addictive! Hand starting still isn't happening but I "repaired" the boat drill and it just takes a touch. One note of concern is a really pronounced vibration between 3500 and 5K. It smoothes out very nice above that and I hoping its just a characteristic of the way its mounted for testing (long aluminum angles). Now to cut off the excess shaft at the rear and come up with an exhaust the neighbors can live with.
Thanks guys.
