I would look at it from an economical stand point first. If your budget allows I would go for the P-80 because you can always dail down the power, but you can't really add something that isn't there with the P-60. Also take into consideration what you may want to stuff the engine into in the future, there are a lot more great airframes on the market for a 19 pound turbine then for a 13 pound model. That's my humble opinion. The aspect to consider is would the weight difference affect the airframe much. Not being a Bobcat guy, I couldn't tell you. Call BV and ask Bob or David, they'd probably know better then anyone.
