I second RCKens observation about the winds. But as Septic Shock can attest, it doesnt stop some of us. I was out weekend before last at TORKS, wind was up but sustained. Made it ok. The gusty stuff is when I seem to get into trouble, but usually only on landding. Course if ya wait for the right conditions to land, they never come and guess what,,,,,,ya land anyways! Take offs are fine, just shorter than usual..
