Check out
www.rcxplanes.com, great airframe (however, more fragile than EPP), they fly great, and their customer service is top notch. Most foamys fly great in zero wind conditions, 5-10mph is usually doable, at 15mph they can be a handful but still fun. The rcxplanes handle wind better than most. It also depends on your skill level and your flying style.
Don't get too hung up on the size. You fly these planes close in, close enough to touch, totally different from the nitro/gas planes. I made the same change-over as you last year. I haven't gone back to gas since.
