In that case...
Why would you put your AMA number on your wing at all? Is that a rule that some clubs have? I have my name, cellphone number, and AMA number inside my fuselage, but that's it.
I put the number on my plane because I want to put it there. It's part of the graphics that I use on my plane. I also have my name and contact number on a piece of paper inside of the fuselage, as per the AMA safety code.
