Woops,

The last word in your sentence adequately describes the muffler. JUNK !! Not that I didn't like Semco mufflers, but the last thing they did was muffle anything. Honestly, I believe they were made just to appease those "muffler" rules at the field. I had one of their other models on a Skybolt, again just to say it had a muffler, and it actually increased engine performance. They are well made, and look cool, but don't really muffle a lot. Put it on an engine and find out for yourself. They made the muffler and then the fun part was finding the appropriate "adapter" to make it fit your engine. I think I've still got one somewhere... have to dig it out.
