Thanks a lot guys, please keep this thread in constant view. hankpajari and us ace, what are the rubber bands called, like professionally in the hobby shop and how many in total do i need, icluiding th ones that hold the wing together
They do not hold the wings together. The wing should be epoxied together. The rubber bands just hold it onto the fuselage. You should use 10-12. If using 12 then place 5 per side front to back and the last 2 crisscross them left to right and front to back
They are called #64 rubber bands in the hobby shop. Make sure you use #64 because anything else smaller will cause the wing to sepereate from the rest of the plane. By a ton of them, you'll need them since they will break when you take them on and off and the fuel will eventually eat them.
Store them in a jar with baby powder so they do not dry out, including the used ones since the baby powder will soak up the fuel on them
