The difference is what parts are used.

One engine has a compression ring at the top of the piston and the other does not.

Obviously one will have a groove in the piston for the ring and the other will not. All you have to do is look into the exhaust port to tell.

Bore & stroke may also be different, I did not look. Apparently no need to since you are not answering the questions anyway.
