sorry for the OT post, I have a question for the 9Z owners (and DSC users), many pattern flyers use it I think

With the DSC cable is possible to read receiver battery voltage within the 9Z. Ok, really nice feature!!!

Too bad this can be done only with the receiver turned off. Can it be done while moving servos? With the DSC package I received a strange wire, with two male futaba connectors at the ends: perhaps this can be used between the DSC plane plug and receiver in order to do what I want?
