Yes, you can read receiver battery voltage when receiver in is on.
Just plug it directly in the DCS port of the receiver and it works.
So, do not use the charge jack but instead have another one connected directly to the receiver. This arrangement lets you read the voltage after the switch.
The twin male wire is needed to enable use of standard futaba charger and the above mentioned charge jack on the side of the plane.
