If you can get your hands on a BME 44 you would be ahead of the game over all the other engines you have noted. Hi power, low weight. Other than that I would stay with the 2.4. After adding the muffler and igniton, the DA comes in a bit heavier than you may want. Lower wing loadings fly a lot better than heavier ones. The Quadra would be out of the question, IMO, for both weight and power reasons. Quadras were a good engine in their day, but the current crop of gassers beats them out a bit.
