I've gotten similar results with a Nikon 7600 and Casio Z57. VGA images, 30 fps and good sound.
Any of the current offerings should be the same.

It wold be nice to find one that lets you use an optical zoom while filming. The Kodak VP550 can be had for $250 and it is being advertised right now with t.v. quality movie making. I like that it uses a SD card.
