i have the rimfire and have had great success with it!!! my success has inspired 4 other of my club member to get on themself, but i am using a very diffrent setup from you. i am using a jeti 8 controller with only a 9x4.7 apc prop. they say not to run over that prop. i run 830 3cell packs. i had the matt chapman cap 580 flatout with this motor and could fly 10 to 15 minutes on the 830 pack with tons of power!!! i also have put this motor on a 10 ounce plane and had great performance even on the heavier plane. i had one friend who bought the same controller as you and had problems very simular, he changed to the jeti 8 and all the problems went away, or u can use a cc10 controller. i have had the problem u are having with an off brand controller on a brushless motor and when i changed to a cc10 the problems stopped
