Agreed, its just not something here mentioned a lot. With the prices of high performance r/c models coming down all the time, more and more people will start to buy them, Thats why I think its important to stress the safety issue. I saw a video in the "crashed" thread the other day of a large .60 or .90 size bird crashing from just a few feet off the ground and the thing just beat itself to death. The engine would not stall and the rotor would not break, it just pounded the ground running around in a circle untill something in the drive train finally let go.
