RE: Eflite Blade CX
Get Real. Thanks for the information.
I went to my LHS and two guys were flying their CXs in the back. I talked to them and learned alot. Got mine out and found it was definitely the limited space I was in. I flew it fine, for a new pilot having more space to fly.
I also noticed that the top flybar and hub replacement part for the CX shows it has two pieces in the replacement parts kit. I also thought mine was a single piece connected to the inner shaft/hub.
I'll choose not to glue mine when I replace it. I have 2 on order but I'm to new and will probably have more mishaps so I'd rather have it pop off, I think.
I've broken mine twice with relatively minors hits but CA worked great !!! So before you all get to upset about this part try CA.
I'm not happy about this part being so easily damaged but the Heli isn't supposed to hit things so I'll take responsibility but hope that Horizon Hobby either strengthens the piece or makes a mod to be able to replace it on the shaft from the top so I don't have to pay $9.00 each time when I only need the plastic part!!
The other two pilots at the LHS also broke theirs and CA worked for them.
One of them used string to wrap around the hub along with a few drops of CA as suggested above. Worked great for him as well.
The CX is awesome! This pilot is the one that still needs some work....HAHA..I'll get there.
Thanks to all
