Default RE: JLT turbines?

ORIGINAL: Flying Arrow

How much are those JLTs?
They were advertised in an Australian magazine for A$2200 with full auto start I believe (the ad was a bit ambiguous) and around A$1200 for the basic engine with no ECU etc.

Russell, I'm sure Model Engines would like to get on the Jet bandwagon but they have (well it appears that way to me) to have a good reputation for distributing mostly quality goods and would not want to spoil things by getting involved with products that would dirty their good name.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying this engine is good or bad. I think a lot of posts on forums rubbishing this or that are by people who are selling a competing this or that. But what I do know is I have never been disappointed by paying a bit extra for 'top name brand' products like Enya, O.S., JR, or Futaba. For what it's worth, as a beginner to turbines, It's reassuring to know that if something goes wrong I can contact someone like Sara Parish for help. Yes I bought a Wren, no I'm not a distributor! - John.
