This is my first post here on RCU.

I am a Heli guy with a few Raptors.

I have just broke down and bought my first plank. Its a GP's Flatana. I went the brushless route with the Rimfire and the BL-8. A friend of my who got me into these things has 4 of them all with the Rimfire setups. I havent had any problems what so ever with my setup. I plugged my esc into my Hitec 4 rx, then into the wiring on the Rimfire. Plugged in my Polyquest 1100 mah, 3S lipo and I was ready to rock.

This airplane rocks !!! As long as you dont wreck it to bad, it does seem to fly better with alot more epoxy and some of that 3M reinforced clear packaging tape in the right areas.

As far as the Rimfire or the ESC problems you guys are having. My buddy has had one bad engine and one bad BL-8 ESC. He sent both back to GP's and had both of them replaced for Free!!!
