Hi all,

I am building a GS Topflite P51 ARF. I cut out the wheel wells in the wing and ironed down about 3/8" of covering into the plastic wheel well inserts. Now I want to paint the wheel well interior green. Can I safely paint the plastic and ironed down covering without having a long term problem like the paint coming off in flakes or the covering coming away from the plastic? Or is there another technique to doing this?

BTW, the paint is acrylic paint. Is that OK?
