I'm also working on an F-84 F project. I went to the Air and Space Museum Archives in DC. They have all the original Republic engineering production drawings for the aircraft on microfilm (several thousand drawings...). I sat for whole day on the microfilm viewer and picked out and printed what I needed. I got a very good inboard profile, dimensioned general arrangement drawings and detail drawings of wings tail, surfaces and everything on the landing gear. As for cross sections, it's a bit of puzzle because you have piece it together from various detail mechanical drawings, but it will be undisputably correct when you're done. From what I've gathered, I can tell that all of the drawings I've seen published have smaller or greater flaws.
