@ Michael Knol,
can you take a picture of your elevator attachment (turning point, arm of a lever) and the positon of your linkage?! What servo do you use?!
regards Martin

No,
not from the Bertella plans.
But perhaps at the weekend I can send you a drawing. (yet, I dont no were I´ve found it).
Here is a picture of the plans, I do with my father. lenth 2100mm, wingspan 1600mm, all wood. The fuse from my father is on the way, mine formers are waiting (other things to do,diploma thesis...).
But that plane is really very cool.

I'm also working on an F-84 F project. I went to the Air and Space Museum Archives in DC. They have all the original Republic engineering production drawings for the aircraft on microfilm (several thousand drawings...). I sat for whole day on the microfilm viewer and picked out and printed what I needed. I got a very good inboard profile, dimensioned general arrangement drawings and detail drawings of wings tail, surfaces and everything on the landing gear. As for cross sections, it's a bit of puzzle because you have piece it together from various detail mechanical drawings, but it will be undisputably correct when you're done. From what I've gathered, I can tell that all of the drawings I've seen published have smaller or greater flaws.

PST jets in Thailand is due to release a Thunderjet version of the F84 in 4.7 to 1 scale. They have been flying the prototype for about 6 weeks now. The plane uses a 13 kg turbine, and is fully composite with rivets, panel lines and hatches moulded in.The production version should be out in about 4 months.

Any news on the F-84thunderjet from PST? That is a big model Martin. Maybe the PST will be as light as possible so it will fly nicely. I want a jet from this era that is fully aerobatic, precise and with a wide speed envelope that has not been done to death.
PST, are you out there?~)

I was in Bangkok last month and got to fly the PST Thunderjet prototype. This will be a fantastic airplane. It handles like a giant pattern model, is very visible in the air and is perfectly matched to the PST 1300R performance vice.
A previous post said it is 1:4.7. It's not that big, I think it's in the order of 1:5.5, which is still a good size airplane, but not so large that it is unpractical and requires a monster engine. The aircraft will come complete with all surface details and a very nice scale gear. This one will be worth the wait!

You'll probably see some official news from PST regarding the release of this jet. That'll happen once they've completed testing and gotten the production processes smoothed out.
I'm just their engine/ECU service guy so I haven't seen anything on the potential release date yet. Mike's estimate above could very well be correct, but again the manufacturer is sure to elaborate closer to the release. The size data I've seen states a scale of ~1 : 5.6, and approx 15Kg dry. I've seen a video clip and prototype photos, so it seems like its coming along well.
Sorry I haven't got any more info for you...

Hey Joe,
After my last post I contacted PST and got permission to post the photos for you. These are shots of the 1st prototype I believe. Still no information on price or delivery date though.
On an unrelated note, I just found out my new panther's been shipped!!!!
