RE: Saito 82 thirst.
Sorry Larry,But at one ounce a minute fuel burn and you want to fly 10 minutes or more fuel tank size is very relevent.I have many Saito's and as said before look to at least 3 gallons burned thru motor till it is fully broken in.Also as said in previous post after break in a 300 RPM drop setting on full throttle adjustment is fine.Low end setting is as lean as you can get it and she will still transistion.We have also found that a OS F plug really works well in Saitos.I have 2 Saito 82's.One has 5 gallons thru her and It is on a Extreme Flight Edge 540t profile at 4 1/2 lbs.I fly 15 minutes on 10 ounces 20/20 fuel.We are at 5000 ft elevation so we run a little leaner.Higher up you get less fuel you burn, but also get robbed of a bit of power.
