I'll have to take a look, but I think the DuraTrax engine might be an O.S.? (could be wrong...and I'll edit this statement if I have to after I check it out )

I do know that the DuraTrax monster truck ( the Warhead ) I looked at the other day has an engine made by Supertigre, the G27CX (how 'bout that one Jim?!)

edit: yep...the DTX .18 is made by O.S. so, you wouldn't be gaining anything by "changing" engines.

Check out the car and truck forums and see what some of the popular replacement/upgrade engines are...
