Dgrant thanks for the nice words and yes i was going to move the hinge line not just make the elevator bigger. The ailrons I was going to ethier 1.5 or 2" . I did 2" in my gp cap and it worked out nicely. The hinge line on the elevator will be at least 50/50 with a counter balance and the same on the rudder.

I all ready have a profile(OMP540) and want somthing scale this time around. I would love a 540 and I think I can convert the 300 but I would be stuck with the cowl. I think I got everything else though. Really the only problem I see with the 300 and 3D is the wieght. They tend to be heavy.
But like you said you love yours. And thats not the first time Iv heard this. Thats whats makes me want to keep it a 300. Pluse Iv seen some pics of the 300's and man they are pretty.

I have got a os 50sx going in it so i dont think power is an issue. I just have to lithen the he** out of it.

What would you think of a gp 300s with 2" ail. funfly tail, a os50 with a 13x5 wood prop with macs muffler that wieghs 5 to 5.5lbs????
Thats what Im pushing for. How about the 540 idiea?? What do you guys have to say about that??????
Im open for idieas. What other KIT is out there in the .40 class thats scale that i can do. As far as I know Im stuck.
