all stadium trucks are hard to drive, that the nature of the beast/s.
on a loose surface (ie hard packed clay with dust, gravel) a rustler is a harder car to drive than say, a GT or a XXX-nt or a MST-1.
it is due to the shock tower (mainly front) being shorter than the others, and therefore the front end sitting high and funny compared to 'race' designed car. also the rusty is geared a lot taller than a race designed car. if you cange the clutch bell to a 16 tooth then it will be more suitable.
also the only way i could get my rusty to break last time i tried ( we were bashing and im getting a RC10Gt on sunday so we figured we would try to get it to break) was to drive it up a quarter pipe (6 feet tall) at about about 3/4 throttle and it spun vertically about 6-8 metres up, then landed awkward on a rear wheel on cement and it broke a rear arm carrier (or rear arm hinge) ($5 part)
By the way, Cody told me about you, i am Dann the guy from games HQ
