Default 300s for 3d work

I have an EXTRA 300S 0.40 from GP. I love it but it is real heavy at 7 lbs. Power comes from an OS 0.61 SF-Pump which powers it nicely.

Blenders are awesome and torque rolls are easy when you get used to. The high weight prevents me from doing harriers and all that stuff. Il will sorta waterfall but my extra is built stock and defenitely would benefit larger tail surfaces.

I use all the throw I can get from the rudder, the same applies for elevator but plan on having more down elevator throw than up elevator.

Seeing the pics posted here, it gets me into the idea of covering my airplane with monocote instead of solartex fabric which with all the paint adds at the very least 1/2 lbs. Maybe some dremel work as you did for an extra 1/2 lbs.

Keep us informed. I wish I could see your first flight.
