I have 2 motives first one being where to fly? I'll be working in the Northern San Diego Cty. area around Carlsbad, but I may potentially live north of there in Southern Orange County. Any suggestions?

Also I'm kind of looking for suggestions on areas to live as well. My better half will be working in the Burbank and Hollywood areas most of the time, while like I said I'm based out of the Carlsbad area. Preferably I'd like to have as easy of a drive as possible for both work and play. I don't mind going long distances, as long as I can actually travel at a decent Highway speed.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
