Default super stinker snapping with just rudder?

Hi all,
This is my first post here, I just got my first aerobatic type plane. I have been flying since I was 14 (now34), but mostly giant scale warbirds.
The first thing I noticed on this plane was how SUPER sensitive the rudder is (maybe that's where they got super stinker from)!
When I put in more than a touch of rudder it wants to snap violently (maybe it is suposed to do that....), but I am used to flying with rudder and aileron and I am scared that I am going to snap it unexpectedly. I now have about 80% exp in.
It also makes it impossible to slip it in on a crosswind.

Any ideas? Is this normal for the stinker, or should I check something out on the setup?

Thanks in advance.

p.s. it also will snap on an inverted loop...I am going to check the elevators to make sure they are moving the same amount... other than that it flies great!
