Default Engine trouble!

Hi Chad,
Your starting problem seems elementary.
When any engine does not start normal there can be only two
problems.
1> Ignition, remove the plug and insert it in the glow driver.
The plug element must glow bright red.
2> Fuel flow>Rest the craft and engine so the carb venturi is
facing horizontal. Plug the venturi opening (with finger?) and
crank engine over several times. Examine the finger
it should be
fuel soaked and there should be evidence of fuel in the carb.
Then use normal starting prodedure. If engine does not run then
there is trouble in the engine itself. First check all attachment screws, especially the back cover.
Compression>even with minimum compression:with a starter if
all the above checked OK the engine should at least start.
The fuel check described assures two things are in order. First
is the fuel system and second is the engine has no leaks and
compression is adequet.
Good luck!
