Default RE: My TL-01 Drifter project

I have a TL-01, and it's such a better drifter than my TT-01(that's why i'm selling my TT-01).

Anyways, three suggestions.

1. Venom Fireball motors are crap. And besides, it's 17 turn. You won't be happy drifting with that(If you CAN initiate a drift with a 17 turn...). Get a p2k2 pro motor, Revenge of the Monster, Epic 27t, Some other 27t motor.

2. The speed tuned gears are geared too low for drifting. I have speed tuned gears, and since your motor is almost always running without any resistance due to the piped wheels, your motor will get hot even faster with lower gearing. So IMO, put your stock gearing on. You can try it though with the speed tuned gears, but your motor will probably get hot quickly.

3. If you live in the US, get ABS piping(PVC at home depot is usually white, while ABS is usually black). ABS is a softer compound than PVC and gets a better "appropriate" grip.

Also for a shell, get a 180sx, a 22B, or an FC. Or just try and get a shell in which no one else has... Actually, not many people have R34s, surprizingly...
