Hi guys,

I'm Chris Tomberlin, designer and peddler of the Talon F1-P.

If you don't mind, I'll jump in with a few answers to the above:

No one has stomped one of my airplanes - yet!

Yes, the weight is correct. I don't BS people about that to sell a few airplanes. After seeing several of the the current superlight ARF's literally explode in midair from overpower, overspeed, poor design, etc., I designed my airplane to be a little more sturdy for what you guys will throw at it. I slam my own planes around without mercy so I built it to last. At 13.5 lbs. it has a 19.5 oz./sq.ft. wing loading - it's a floater.

The Saito 1.80 is about the least power I would use on it. Plenty of power for most 3D but needs more ommph for blasting out of hovers. I'll not use his name without permission, but a current national aerobatic champ flew the Talon at Joe Nall with the Saito 1.80 and performed most of his 40% airplane's freestyle routine with it. Rolling loops, torque rolls, blinding fast rolling harriers - I don't think I took a breath the whole time.

I've also tested it with a Moki 2.1 - awesome power. I fly mostly gas so, as we speak, I'm mounting up an Evolution 35 (2.15 c.i.) gasser with a tuned pipe. I'll let you know how that goes in few days - weather permitting.

I'll be glad to answer any questions as directly as I can. Heard too much hype from all the others to spew it myself.

The first shipment will be here about mid-Jan.

Thanks,
Chris
