RE: Second Plane for Avistar Owner
I am definitely going to keep the avistar. I figure I can use it for practice and always have a second plane to fall back on. I am curious if I can get it to hover, so I may try that when it warms up a bit here.
Anyway, thanks for the replies fellas. Raideron, I have also heard of a lot of broken gear on the U-Can-Do. The three that were in my club all broke off the landing gear, so I just felt like I couldn't make that buy with so much of the landing gear issues. After speaking with a few guys in my club who know how I fly, I ended up choosing the Sig 3D Mayhem ARF .72-.91,72-1/8". It was spoken of very highly and seems to have the characteristics I am looking for. One of the members who has it and flies with me a bunch just absolutely loves it. They agreed that I would probably grow out of the 4*60 and tiger 60 pretty quickly. As an added bonus, I think we can get it for me by Christmas! lol.
