Trust me. Getting a beginner car is a must if you're new to the hobby.
I HIGHLY suggest the TL-01 or the TT-01. Go get the RTR version of either of those on Ebay or somewhere else. Also, don't take these beginner cars as "sucky" because they don't suck, and if you were to work with like a TC4 or a Pro 4 from the start, you'd probably totally f*** up.
