I am not thinking that, I am telling you that. I can speak from experience. I have the Byron Cub, which is the exact same plane. It is a very heavy plane. Mine weighs in at 35 lbs. with a OS pegasus 240. No matter whether I grease it in or bounce a couple. I have to remove the gear every five or six flights to rebend the gear and axles.
Go to Hostetler Plans website (do a search) and click on accessories. This plane is built off of his plans for the 30% cub. Go to cub section and they give a source for a landing gears. I believe it is likes line. My advice, great plane, throw the gear out though.
