Hi Guys,
I just recieved my F6F and question what retracts to use. I do have a set of Robart rotating 90 Deg. gear on hand...but I've read that this gear is not the best choice. I have contacted C.J. and they have gear made spacific to this model. I do have a set of C.J. retracts for my TF P-51, and love the gear. What to do...?

I need some good info here.

Second question; Is there a light weight, good gas engine that will fit into this model ? Not a G-23/26, but another make ? Gas is $2.85 a gallon, glow is near $30.00. I would love to use a gasser here, but the G-26 seems to be a bit to heavy for the model.

I bought the Robart Tail Wheel retract unit, and it's going in. I saw the picture of what one modeler did, and decided to do the same.

What size main wheel is scale for this bird ? Folks seem to be using everything from 3" to 4".

Soft landings always,
Bobby of Maui
