Default PayPal User question

False. Totally false. Whatever paypal says in the FAQ. The FACT of the situation is that if you do a chargeback on your card, the seller will get screwed.
It's nice to know that according to Paypal, both the buyer and the seller are totally protected in any and all respects, but the reality is something completely different.
Ask all the sellers who have been stuck.
Smart people don't keep a lot of money in their paypal account, lest someone do a chargeback and they freeze your entire account.
The reality is this...in the event of a dispute, the LAST people who are going to get stuck are Paypal. Your CC company will most definitely not pay Paypal if they think YOU are not going to pay THEM.
I say this not because I am looking for a fight, or a debate, but because this is the reality of the situation, and I don't want YOU or anybody else to beleive some of the hype they put out and get themselves into what could be a really bad situation.
Do a quick web search and see all the pages set up like www.ihatepaypal and such and see some of the horror stories. Paypal has it's purposes, but if you think you are totally protected, as a buyer or a seller, you are totally misguided. I hope, sincerely, that you take this advice and experience to heart and take steps to just be a little more aware of the realities of Paypal, and I hope, sincerely, that you do not have to find out the reality of the situation the hard way.
I hope you use delivery confirmation on everything, so you have proof of mailing, as all the buyer needs to do is say "I never got it" and you are stuck. I hope you don't keep large amounts of money in your Paypal account, as all someone needs to do is pay for a Freq. scanner with their CC and paypal, put the batteries in backwards, then say "Aerografics sold me junk" and then have your account frozen while they investigate you for fraud. I hope you don't ship anybody a $2000 jet before you have the cash in your hands, lest it get destroyed in shipping, though the buyer chose not to insure it, and you get stuck with the tab.
You have to beleive me when I tell you all is not smiles and sunshine with Paypal, and the reality is something totally different from their claim of "everybody is totally protected." Good luck to you.

You win, and now for the News
