Default sourcing spur gears?

I was referring to spur gears in general, as in making my own gearboxes. The housing on the wattage box is not durable. When I went to the other types, I no longer had trouble with easily broken gears. With the price of the GWS systems, there is little motivation to make my own boxes.

I would still like a source of generic spur and pinion gears. I have a "Small parts" catalog, but the prices arent any better than Hobby People.

As for the motors, I specifically like the mabuchi 370 series because it is the best fit for an 8 cell 700 mAh AAA battery. The latest challenge is to find the best match for a 2 cell 1020 lipo battery. The GWS IPS and the GWS 100 series seems the most likely, but maybe the M100 is better....any opinions out there?

Also bought 20 2 cell batteries, 1500 mAh Li-ion. At 2.9 oz per set, the possibilities will much more limited.... I think. With the 3-4 amp limit, and the 2.9 oz...heh, not a good mix. Looking into the 2p2s or 3s2p with bigger motors. (The phone packs from etonic which has been posted. Great deals, honest transactions.
