IF IT RAN GOOD BEFORE U CONVERTED IT THEN TELL ME WHAT YOU DID AS A CONVERSION. ENGINE PERFORANCE WILL NOT CHANGE FROM JUST CUTTING OFF THE EXCESS ALUMINUM AND ADDING A PROP HUB. CHECK THE COIL TO FLYWHEEL CLEARANCE, TRY TO GET IT AT .015. CHECK THE CARB GASKET FOR THE PULSE PORT ALIGNMENT. BEFORE THE CONVERSION U RAN IT WITH NO LOAD AND NOW U HAVE A PROP?? WHAT PROP?? RUN IT AGAIN AND PARTIALLY COVER THE BOTTOM CARB VENTURI WITH SOMETHING (FINGER, SMALL SCREWDIRVER) IF UR LEAN THEN THIS WILL GET U OVER THAT SPOT. CHANGE THE SPARK PLUG AND TRY .018 IF U HAVE A WEAK MAG THIS MIGHT HELP. MY 2BBL IN STOCK CONDITION ( EXCESS ALUM. REMOVED AND A PROP HUB) TURNED A MASTER CLASSIC 18-6 AT 7200 RPM. THE STOCK TORO 1BBL WAS 6400RPM AFTER A LOT OF MACHINE WORK THEY NOW TURN 8400 AND 7800RPM SO THERE IS MORE TO GAIN WITH THE 2BBL. KEEP TRYING. DONT FORGET THESE ARE REJECTS FOR SOME USUALLY SIMPLE REASON!!!
