Bryris,
In talking with the tech at Hitec one day he stated the 555 is not designed for glow planes.
There is a vertical board soldered to the main board and it may not take the vibrations of the glow engine.
I am not familiar with the Electron 6. I'd recommend going to the Hitec forum here and ask the question.
I know a lot of people have said they have successfully used a 555 in their glows. Is it worth the risk?
I lost a plane with a 555 in it. I don't know the cause but I'm not taking the chance again.
